U4021QW and XPS 17 charging

I am in the process of bringing my equipment back up to modern standards.
I finally ended up with the two devices I would like to buy.
But now I've had another look at the specs and have a few questions.
Actually, I thought the solution of being able to work with only one cable between laptop and monitor was great.
But the monitor seems to be able to deliver "only" 90 watts of power.
But the XPS in the configuration I would like to buy already has a battery with 97 watts.
Does that mean that I have to connect a USB-C to the monitor and another USB-C to the power adapter?
Do I see that right?
Are there any other disadvantages (apart from the fact that I always have to plug in and unplug two cables)?
