DELL U2525H Monitor Stand scratching Noises /move with difficulty

Hi!

I bought said Monitor around 8 Months ago. I initially set the hight of the Monitor stand and everything was smooth and worked fine. 

I recently adjusted the height and hard a hard time even moving the Stand. It finally moved and makes scratchy noises and is still hard to move.

The Monitor itself is working fine - its just the Stand that i personally think does not work as intended anymore and deserves some kind of replacement.
